12" Lorvigg and Spec
Another opportunity to create outside sweet and pretty. Searching for old names for this Troll I found Lorvigg, a creature of the forests. My Lorvigg is a simple folk, made of Green Tissavel, fully jointed and is accompanied by Spec his winged insect buddy. Large German glass googly eyes and a painted and padded ultrasuede nose give Lorvigg character as well as his oversized ears. Dressed in burlap loin cloth and a talisman of nut and chicken bone. Spec is a chunk of old wood with wings cut from a baseball cover and shoe button eyes. Together they travel the countryside in his old worn wagon selling medicaments and simples he brews in old bottles. - $315

13" Save the Gardens of the World Sloth
My protest against the disappearance of woodlands , wetlands, jungles and savanna's. I have been privileged to see the beauty in nature in so many places, including the Sloths of Costa Rica. They move so slowly even the moss of the tree canopies can catch up to them and grown in their fur. So maybe a green sloth isn't so unusual. Mine is made of green mohair German glass eyes, is fully jointed and has a wired armature to hang onto trees. Each appendage has sculpted claws. He is accompanied by by his ball of moss to climb on. - $255

Lovely vintage taffeta dress has the smallest lace detail around collar and front pleat. It only needed a bit of floral trim from her tiara to embellish it. Black velveteen bolero style vest is attached and i added the black lace belt for definition and a deep eyelet petticoat for fullness.
