15" Countess Dagmar
I loved the dress first with its layers of lace and the deep pink velveteen bodice and designed the bear around it so the soft pearl mohair would accent the dress and let it be the bold one. Even better was the vintage trim in my stash to add drama to the dress. Vintage pearls, floral headpiece and matching purse with lace and floral trim complete her ensemble. While underneath is a vintage chemise, drawers and a pair of high topped lace up boots! I've only ever seen one other pair and they belong to one of my big Chinas. - $275

Wooden cabinet with grill windows lures the curious into the Mausoleum with fine papered walls, death mural and potted palms and its resident mohair kitty. Below is the crypt with wooden casket and mummy remains. - $165
11" Pig and Polk the bear
Orange mohair bear is fully jointed and shaded in deep colors around German glass eyes and nose. He wears a dark brown coat with moonbeam hat trimmed in moons and buttons. Red and orange ruff and pompom trim. Felted white pig plays along. - $235
16" Pumpkin
Every fall season needs a pumpkin, here she is in a vintage woven black and white dress with matching bonnet. Black lace trimmed petticoats underneath are a nice contrast. Bonnet is trimmed with black feathers, crocheted detail and button. Leather purse and chain complete the ensemble. - $275
14" Boss Hog
What a fun project to get me out of my comfort zone. Orange mohair jointed pig is spotted in black with pierced nose and chain to ear piercings. Body is wrapped in studded belt. A tattoo would have been nice but I would have needed to shave parts of him! Halloween tough guy! - $265

Orange and black mohair dog is fully jointed to sit and stay. German glass green googly eyes just make his little face pop. Black collar with old metal detail. - $215

Rust colored mohair rabbit wears vintage windowpane child's dress with crocheted lace and floral detail at neck. The pale pink silk baby jacket is softly quilted with delicate frogs at center front and a lace collar detail. Camilla Rose is fully jointed with wired ears to pose , Germany glass eyes, fluffy tail and soft pink shading on nose and face. She carries a wicker basket of robins eggs. - $325

Rosella the rabbit is fully jointed with wired ears , German glass eyes and softly painted features to accent the rust mohair. She wears a vintage lace trimmed chemise under her old plaid dress. The tiny bit of pink rick rack and old. Scotty dog pin make it and her crocheted turtle friend a happy combination. - $270

Tan mohair pig coordinates with the navy wool Great Coat and military hat. Details include black velveteen collar and front placket which is encumbered with gold brass military buttons and his medal. Best of all is his 1930’s wooden bomb to show he means business! Fully jointed with German glass eyes, felt nose and stern expression!. - $255
7" Born on The 4th of July
Celebrating our Nations 250th Anniversary is this little red pig made of Alphonso mohair with gold felt snout and ear linings to coordinate. He rides in a bold blue vintage carriage with oversized wheels and wire handle, lined with a stripped cushion of old pillow ticking. He is simply attired in navy collar and white beret with tiny red trim and carries a red felt pennant overhead. I felt the old Advertising card with needle give away inside was a good accent. Fully jointed with German glass eyes and curly tail. - $225
The Owl and the Pussycat went to Sea
8” pussy cat sings to his 5” winking owl friend as they float along accompanied by accordion and jar of honey, the $$$ is wrapped up in the pea green boat painted in splashes of gold and white with sail of stripped linen. Cat has green glass eyes and is fully jointed with sculpted nose and long tail and green plaid neckerchief. Owl is jointed head only with sculpted beak and one German glass eye. - $245

Milk chocolate mohair and milk chocolate German Glass eyes are the best combination for a lovable bear. I kept his beige hat and red and white linen collar with paisley bow tie simple. Fully jointed he cuddles his old ,child made pillow. - $275

I love this amethyst mohair to coordinate with vintage goods as it gives the bear a soft elegant vib. I coupled that mohair along with a chemise and white petticoat with deep lace edge.Smoke grey lace and a few buttons drape her shoulders while plum ribbon at waist and beaded felt hat add to her mystic.
